Cruise to Vancouver Island for a full day guided tour and find your way through capital city of British Columbia. Spend the day exploring Victoria including world-famous Butchart Gardens. Included is your choice of free admission to either the Royal British Columbia Museum, Maritime Museum of BC, Miniature World, Bug Zoo or the Wax Museum.

Your tour begins as you are picked up from your hotel and driven on a B.C. ferry for a 1.5-hour cruise to Vancouver Island. Upon arrival, you'll take a scenic drive through exclusive residential areas and parks on the way to downtown Victoria. You'll be given an overview of downtown Victoria and will then have free time to explore on your own.

Admission is included to any ONE of the following downtown Victoria attractions:

Ride the rails from Vancouver to Whistler on the spectacular Whistler Mountaineer train, passing through some of the world's most rugged fjords and mountains. The day trip to Whistler includes free time to explore Whistler Village, one of North America's most popular ski resorts and host of the 2010 Winter Olympics.

On your return drive to Vancouver, you'll stop at Shannon Falls, the third highest waterfall in British Columbia. Take a guided walk through an old-growth rainforest to see 1,000-year-old cedar trees with trunks measuring 35 - 40 feet (9-12 meters) wide, then return to Vancouver by mini-coach on the Sea-to-Sky Highway.

The highlight of the full-day tour from Vancouver is the Whistler Mountaineer rail tour. The train experience includes interpretive commentary of features along the route and access to the Heritage Observation Car for fresh air and unrestricted views of the spectacular scenery.

In this case, getting there is half the fun. Your private Whistler adventure starts with a drive across the famous Lions' Gate bridge and onto the Sea to Sky Highway. Hugging the side of the coastal mountains and overlooking the Howe Sound, the drive is worth the trip all by itself. After stopping at Shannon Falls and Brandywine Falls you'll arrive at Whistler in time for a leisurely lunch.

After lunch, enjoy some free time to explore Whistler village or visit the top of the ski area via the high speed gondola (extra fee for gondola). When you are ready, the tour will take a leisurely return drive into the sunset arriving back in Vancouver in the early evening.
